We Check the Wood Beneath Your Shingles.
Removing the old shingles lets us inspect the exposed roof decking for soft spots, rot, loose panels, and other damage. We do not simply cover up compromised wood with new roofing.
We reinforce areas that need additional support and replace rotted or unsound decking as needed, creating a sound base before the new membrane, underlayment, and shingles are installed. If additional repairs are needed, we explain what we find and review the work and pricing with you before proceeding.
Ventilation Is Part of the Roof

Before we install new shingles, Noble Exteriors checks the existing intake and exhaust ventilation. A ridge vent alone is not enough if fresh air cannot enter the attic.
Check the Intake. Add It Where Needed.
We review the available intake and whether airflow paths are open. When intake is insufficient, we add suitable intake vents as part of the project. On roof replacements, we have added roof-mounted intake vents over an air slot near the eave edge, allowing fresh air to enter beneath the shingles and into the attic.
Match Intake with Exhaust.
Fresh air enters through suitable intake vents near the lower roof edge, while warm, moisture-laden air leaves through exhaust vents higher on the roof. We review the balance and select vent locations and products for your roof and attic design.
